Who we are

Hobart Short Stay Management Pty Ltd (ABN 12 700 759 191) is referred to here as "we" or "us". This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.

What we collect

When you ask for an appraisal, we collect your name, mobile number, email address, the property address or suburb, and anything else you choose to tell us about the property.

We also record how you found us, such as the advertisement or search that brought you to the site (for example campaign tags and Google click IDs), the page you were on, and the time you sent the form.

How we use it

We use your details to contact you about managing your property and to prepare your appraisal. If you become a client, we use them to manage your property under our agreement with you. We use the information about how you found us to understand which advertising works.

Where it is stored

Your details go into our customer relationship management system (Pipedrive) and our business email. These providers may store data outside Australia.

Guest club and monthly draw

If you join the Hobart Short Stay Club, we collect your first name, email address, the property you joined from and when you joined. If you enter our monthly draw through Instagram, we see your Instagram username and comment, and if you win we ask for your name and email address to arrange your voucher.

We use these details to run the club and the monthly draw, including checking entries against our booking records and contacting winners, and to send club emails if you have agreed to receive them. Every club email has an unsubscribe link. We don't use the contact details that booking platforms give us to manage a stay for marketing.

Club sign-ups are kept in our Google Workspace account and our email platform. These providers may store data outside Australia. The draw terms explain how the draw works.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, such as our CRM and email providers, or where the law requires it.

Cookies and advertising

We use Google's advertising tag so we can tell when an enquiry came from one of our Google ads. It sets cookies in your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Photos of homes we look after are loaded from Airbnb. If you book a call time, you do that on Calendly's website, and Calendly's privacy policy applies there.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email admin@hobartshortstaymanagement.com.au or call 0448 595 221.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. If we can't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page.
